A guest room on the ground floor of Lentvaris Palace: a massive dark-wood cabinet with glass doors, packed with books, and beside it a tall longcase clock with an ornate dial and a moon-phase indicator. On the wall, a portrait of a woman in dark clothing in a gilded frame, and a smaller landscape; in the corner, a covered round table with a lace tablecloth and a fringed lamp. Unlike the grand, ceremonial spaces shown in exhibits No. 54–56, this room is a more everyday, private part of the palace: a bookcase and a clock speak of daily rhythms rather than balls or receptions.
The animation zooms in on the clock's dial — the camera drifts slowly forward, letting the viewer study the Roman numerals and the mechanism's intricate ornamentation.
