Vladislovas Tiškevičius, lord of Lentvaris (exhibits No. 38, 44), with his wife Maria Krystyna Aleksandra Lubomirska-Tiškevičienė (exhibits No. 36–37) — this time not in a studio, but somewhere out on the street, in the early 20th century. The photograph wasn't taken by a professional, but by a relative — Benediktas Henrikas Tiškevičius, lord of the Raudondvaris estate near Kaunas. The card bears the embossed Tiškevičius family coat of arms, "Leliwa," and the photographer's signature, "B. TYSZKIEWICZ." It is held at the Kretinga Museum (inv. no. KM IF 6893).
Unlike the formal, frozen studio portraits (as in exhibits No. 41, 43, 45, 48–49), this photograph captures an informal, living moment: the couple stands by a building's window, gazing at each other, the man leaning on his cane, the woman in a feather-trimmed hat. It's a rare glimpse of family life rather than official posing.
The animation brings the most intimate moment in this exhibition to life — Vladislovas and Maria Krystyna lean toward one another and kiss.
