This 1940 drawing is a detailed plan of the entire Lentvaris manor land holding: the lake is shown, with zones A, B, and C spreading around it, and on the right an "Eksplikacija" — a table calculating the area of every plot. The neighbouring holdings are marked around the estate's land — Naujas kaimas, Pietuckowo village, Jachimowicz's land, the railway administration, and even land belonging to the 10th Regiment. 1940 was a turning point: after the Soviet Union occupied Lithuania, a decree issued on 22 July 1940 began the nationalization of large estates' land — farms were capped at 30 hectares, and everything beyond that was seized into the state land fund. A plan this meticulous, recording every plot and its exact area, is a sign of just how closely the Lentvaris estate's land was being measured and documented at that moment.
The animation first shows the entire estate's land holding, then zooms in on the palace and the parterre garden by the lake — the very heart of the estate.
