The Lubomirski name is already familiar from this exhibition — Vladislovas Tiškevičius's wife, Marija Kristina, was born a Princess Lubomirska (1871–1958) from Kruszyna, so Jadwiga was most likely her relative, visiting Lentvaris. The avenue they are walking is the axis of the parterre designed by Édouard André, linking the palace to the rest of the garden.
