This 1873 plan is an official document from the tsarist era, its ornate title cartouche reading: "Планъ... имѣнія Ляндварова его сіятельства графа Осипа Осиповича Тышкевича" (Plan of the Landwarowo estate of His Excellency Count Osip Osipovich Tyszkiewicz). "Osip Osipovich" is the Russian administrative form of the name of Juozapas Tiškevičius, already familiar from another exhibit in this show. The plan shows the manor itself by Lake Landwarowo (today's Lentvaris lake), with its geometric parterre garden, surrounded by dozens of numbered farm plots.
This plan documents the entire Lentvaris "key" (Rus. ключъ) of the time — a cluster of home farms belonging to the same estate. The same 1873 plan is cited in academic research on Édouard André's parks as a source for reconstructing the estate's land boundaries before André's later work began; the original is held at the Lithuanian State Historical Archives in Vilnius (F. 716, Ap. 4, B. 257).
